McLaren P1 News
When you hear McLaren the F1 probably comes to mind, once the fastest road going car in the world. That was in the 90's when car technology was barely taking off. Now in 2013 the successor of the F1, the McLaren P1 is revealed and it is just astonishing how far the car has come. It is official since last week that the car will rock the same motor as the MP4-12C except with a lot more power, 903 total bhp to be exact which will propel this light car at ludicrous speeds!(from spaceballs movie) All this power does not come solely from a gas powered engine because believe it or not this car is a hybrid. The mid mounted twin turbo V8 will push out 727bhp and the electric motor will push out a respectable 176bhp. With its carbon fiber frame, carbon fiber body panels and its drag reduction system which is a technology used by formula 1 race cars, this car is bound to be a classic that will go down in the books like its predecessor the F1.

Definitely an informative post, and has some interesting facts of the Mclaren brand. I'm a huge Formula 1 fan, so this was a really interesting post. I'd seen some information on this car when it was revealed a handful of months ago, but never really dove into the specific details of it. This post gave me some good information on the car, and it's technological advances from it's predecessor.
ReplyDeleteI read this because you are in my group, but I have zero knowledge about car. Without any background, it is difficult to understand the technical comparison, you are making. Yet if it was not for this class, I would probably not have look at your blog. Nevertheless, the presentation is appealing. The text needs a little upgrade, especially for such a car! Threre is one spelling or typing mistake. I did not know what “ludacris” means so I look in the dictionnary and I found “ludicrous” which means absurd, ridiculous, foolish, insane. I think this is what you intend to say.

DeleteHi Hernan, I not here to make judgments on your work, so please don't be offended by my comments because i believe we all have some things to work on with blogging being so new to most of us, I know it is new for me. first, let me state that I am not a big fan of racing, or high performance vehicles, as I would never be able to afford to ride in one, but I am impressed with the amount of technology it takes to build such a car. Next, i believe your blog page would liven up with some color it's just a suggestion.
DeleteWow, it's like you can almost feel the power of the car through the video...hahahah...Nice. I got a old school 89' Camaro Z28, it's sort of my project car if I ever get the time. I would love to see a piece on some old school vehicles. Nice piece!
